What is schema markup?
A small block of code (JSON-LD) that tells Google, Bing and AI assistants exactly what is on your page — your business, a product, an article — in a format they can read without guessing.
Where do I put the code?
Paste it inside the <head> of the page it describes (or just before </body>). In WordPress you can use a header-code plugin or your SEO plugin's custom schema box.
Will this get me rich results?
It makes your page eligible: product prices and ratings, article details, breadcrumbs and business info. Google decides when to show them. Test your code with Google's Rich Results Test after adding it.
Does FAQ markup still work?
Google no longer shows FAQ rich results in search, but FAQ markup still helps search engines and AI assistants understand your questions and answers.
